AUTHORIZATION & ACCREDITATION

Grace Mission University is a nonprofit religious corporation under the Corporations Code ofCalifornia and qualifies for a religious exemption pursuant to California Education Code CEC #94739 (b) (6). The university is private and approved to operate by the California Bureau ofPrivate Postsecondary Education (BPPE); approval means compliance with state standardsoutlined in the California Private Postsecondary Act of 2009 to offer educational programs.Furthermore, Grace Mission University achieved accredited status with TRACS (TransnationalAssociation of Christian Colleges and Schools), and ATS (Association of Theological Schools). Grace Mission University currentlyoffers the following accredited degrees with accreditation by several agencies. GMU does notoffer any unaccredited program. GMU does not offer any education for licenses.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Christian Counseling (BACC, 120 units)
  • Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE, 60 units)
