			<title><![CDATA[등록금 인상 관련 공지 | Notice of Tuition Adjustment]]></title>

모두 여름방학 기간을 잘 보내시고 계실 줄로 믿습니다.

우리 GMU는 하나님의 은혜로 많은 사역자들을 복음주의 신학으로 훈련시키는 사명을 감당해 오고 있습니다.

그러나 계속되는 물가 상승과 학생 수 감소 등으로 인해 학교는 등록금을 인상해야 하는 불가피한 상황에 놓이게 되었습니다.
이에 따라 우리 학교는 최근 학장 회의를 통해 학비 현실화 방안을 논의했으며, 일부 등록금 인상 방안을 결정했습니다.

다만, 현재로서는 학사 과정과 박사 과정에 대해서는 일단 등록금을 동결하고, 석사 과정에 대해서만 학비를 인상하기로 결정했습니다.

최종 결정된 2026년도 가을학기부터 적용되는 등록금은 아래와 같습니다.

 	<li>학사 - $290/학점 (기존과 동일)</li>
 	<li>석사 - $290/학점 ($40 인상)</li>
 	<li>선교학박사 - $490/학점 (기존과 동일)</li>
 	<li>철학박사 - $590/학점 (기존과 동일)</li>
</ul>
새로운 학비 규정은 8월에 시작하는 가을 정규 학기부터 적용됩니다. (여름학기에는 기존 학비를 적용합니다.)
장학금 규정은 기존과 동일하게 적용됩니다.

학교에서도 지속적으로 더 나은 교육 서비스를 제공하기 위해 힘쓰겠습니다.

<strong>Dear GMU Students,</strong>

We trust that you are all enjoying a restful and refreshing summer break.

By the grace of God, Grace Mission University has faithfully carried out its mission of training many ministers and Christian leaders in evangelical theology.

However, due to ongoing inflation and declining student enrollment, the university has reached the point where a tuition adjustment is unavoidable. Accordingly, after careful deliberation by the university's deans and leadership, a partial tuition adjustment was approved in response to current economic conditions.

At this time, however, tuition for the Bachelor's and Doctoral programs will remain unchanged, and only the Master's programs will be subject to a tuition increase.

The tuition rates effective beginning with the <strong>Fall 2026 semester</strong> are as follows:
<ul>
 	<li><strong>Bachelor's Programs:</strong> <strong>$290 per credit</strong> (no change)</li>
 	<li><strong>Master's Programs:</strong> <strong>$290 per credit</strong> (<strong>$40 increase</strong>)</li>
 	<li><strong>Doctor of Missiology (D.Miss.):</strong> <strong>$490 per credit</strong> (no change)</li>
 	<li><strong>Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.):</strong> <strong>$590 per credit</strong> (no change)</li>
</ul>
These new tuition rates will take effect beginning with the regular Fall semester in August. (Current tuition rates will continue to apply to the Summer term.) Scholarship policies will remain unchanged.

The university remains committed to providing the highest quality educational services and to continually improving the learning environment for our students.

<h2>2) Course Delivery Methods</h2>
Courses are offered in three different formats:
<ol>
 	<li>Main Campus (In-person)</li>
 	<li>Zoom Live</li>
 	<li>Distance (Recorded Lectures)</li>
</ol>
Recorded lectures for Distance courses are generally uploaded within <strong>one week</strong> after class. <strong>Assignments must be submitted within two weeks.</strong>

<h3>Distance Registration</h3>
Students wishing to take a course through the Distance format must email the following information to <a href="mailto:registrar@gm.edu" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>registrar@gm.edu</strong></a> after registering in Populi:

Please note:

 	<li>Once the Distance option has been selected, it cannot be changed.</li>

<h3>International Students (F-1 / I-20)</h3>
Students studying under an I-20 are generally required to attend classes in person.
However, they may take <strong>one</strong> course via <strong>Distance or Zoom</strong>.
Courses designated as <strong>Online Only</strong> also count as the one permitted online course.
After registering, I-20 students must email the following information to <a href="mailto:registrar@gm.edu" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>registrar@gm.edu</strong></a>:

Ministry Formation is a <strong>required course</strong>.

 	<li>0.5 credit per semester</li>
 	<li>Students should normally register sequentially beginning with PT401 (or PT501).</li>
 	<li>If the course numbers were previously taken out of sequence, there is no problem with graduation.</li>
</ul>

<p style="font-weight:400;"> 6월8일 월요일부터 GMU Summer Bible Reading Program이 시작됩니다. 귀하께서는 이 GMU Bible Reading Program에 참여하도록 초대되었습니다.</p>

<ul>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">성경 전체 1189장을 6월8일 (월)부터 8월22일(토)의 76일 동안에 전부 읽기 위해서는 매일 15.6장씩 읽어야 합니다.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">GMU 리더십은 이 76일간의 성경통독을 완료하신 분을 밝혀내서 200불 상당의 아마존 기프트 카드를 드리게 됩니다.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">이 성경읽기 프로그램에는 GMU의 이사, 교수, 스텝, 재학생, 및 Alumni다 참여할 수 있습니다.</li>

 	<li style="font-weight:400;">매일 해당 하루 전에 도착하는 이메일의 안내에 따라 정해진 성경영역을 읽으시고, 이메일의 링크를 눌러서 구글폼에 짧은 요약 &amp; 소감을 기록하고 제출 버튼을 누르시면 됩니다.  작성 후 반드시 Submit 버튼을 누르셔야 합니다.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">구글폼은 인터넷 브라우저로 열리게 되므로 Wi-Fi 나 4G/5G 로 인터넷이 연결된 상태에서 기록하고 제출하실 수 있습니다.  컴퓨터, 태블릿 및 스마트 폰으로도 가능합니다.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">이메일과 구글폼은 성경장/절만 안내 하므로, 성경은 본인이 편하신데로 책, 앱, 인터넷등으로 자유롭게 읽으시면 됩니다.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">인터넷 사정이 원활하지 못한 경우, 7일 간의 유예기간을 드리므로 그날 못하시더라도, 인터넷이 되시는 데로 빨리 따라 잡으시면 됩니다.  이 경우 밀리는 것을 방지하기 위해서는 먼저 성경을 정해진 날자에 읽으시고, 이메일과 구글 폼으로 제출하는 요약 &amp; 소감은 7안에 인터넷 상황이 개선되면 제출하시는 것을 권해 드립니다.</li>

<p style="font-weight:400;">The GMU Summer Bible Reading Program will begin on Monday, June 8. You have been invited to participate in this GMU Bible Reading Program.</p>

 	<li style="font-weight:400;">In order to read all 1,189 chapters of the Bible over the 76 days from Monday, June 8, to Saturday, August 22, you will need to read 15.6 chapters each day.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">GMU leadership will identify those who complete this 76-day Bible reading program and award them an Amazon gift card worth $200</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">This Bible reading program is open to GMU board members, professors, staff, current students and alumni.</li>

<p style="font-weight:400;">How to participate</p>

<ol>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">Reminder will be sent to you one day early everyday.  Read the designated Bible section until the next day and click the link in the email to enter a short summary and reflection and submit via Google Form.  Make sure to click Submit after writing.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">Reflection page (created in Google Form) will open in an internet browser.  You will need Wi-Fi or 4G/5G internet connection to write and submit. You can use computers, tablets, and smartphones.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">Email and Google Forms only provides Bible sections, not Bible content.  You can use your own method of reading bible as you prefer, such as the Bible in physical book, app or online.</li>
 	<li style="font-weight:400;">If internet availability is unstable, we offer a 7-day grace period.  If you cannot submit summary on the scheduled day, you can catch up as soon as the internet becomes available.  To avoid delays, we recommend first reading the Bible on the designated date, and submitting summary &amp; reflection via email link within 7 days when the internet situation improves.</li>

As we welcome the Spring 2026 semester, we will begin with our <strong>Opening Revival Services</strong> under the theme <strong>“Revitalizing Our Calling.”</strong>
The revival services will be held over two days, Tuesday and Thursday.

Course changes can only be made during the <strong>regular registration</strong> and <strong>Add/Drop</strong> periods.

After the student requests the distance, the student is not visible even though the distance is displayed in the academic affairs department. Only the professor can see it.
When a student who has applied for distance wants to attend face-to-face or zoom, the student must get approval from the professor in charge.</div>

<div><b><span style="font-size:large;">3. PT401-6/ PT501-6 Ministry Formation</span></b>
PT401-6 is a course code for bachelor's programs.
PT501-6 is the course code for the Master's program.
Ministry Formation is a required course.It is registered for 0.5 credits per semester.
You can enroll in PT401 or PT501 the first time, PT402 or PT502 the second time, and so on.(If you have already changed the order of code numbers or registered overlapping, there will be no problem in completing the course.).Each degree has a different total number of credits you need to complete.
Before you enroll, check the total number of credits required in the Degree Plan for each degree so that you can plan to complete the required credits by graduation.</div>

Please review the 2026 Spring Academic schedule carefully.

 	<li><strong>Course Registration Period:</strong> December 22 – January 9, 6:00 PM
(A <strong>$100 late fee</strong> will be charged for registration after this date.)</li>
 	<li><strong>Tuition Payment Period:</strong> January 12 – January 23, 6:00 PM
(A <strong>$100 late fee</strong> will be charged for late payments.)</li>

If you are planning to graduate within one year and the required course(s) you need are <strong>not offered in the Spring Semester</strong>, you may apply for <strong>Independent Study</strong> during the winter break.
